Appointment Requirements

Patent and Inventions Disclosure

Participants are required to furnish complete information to the Air Force research facility regarding any inventions first conceived or reduced to practice while an U.S. Department of the Air Force Summer Faculty Fellowship Program participant and for which a patent application is filed.

Final Report

The AFOSR requires that all U.S. Department of the Air Force Summer Faculty Fellowship Program participants submit final reports at the end of their tenure with the program. The final report (5-10 pages), comprised of text as well as figures and references, should include major technical and scientific findings of the participant's research. The report is to be submitted to the participant's research advisor, laboratory point of contact, and Systems Plus.

Please note: Faculty fellows and their accompanying graduate students may not submit the same report.

Program Evaluation

Participants are asked to evaluate their experience at the end of the program. An online survey will be used to obtain information and recommendations for improving future programs.
